Another Update...

It's almost wedding day with September creeping just around the corner. We have had SO much to do! I was very grateful that Zach was able to come down for one last week before school started. I don't know what I would have done without him. We got so many things done. In fact we were so busy running around that I got sick. Aside from the sickness it has been a wonderful week and our excitement is growing by the minute!

Our first stop of the week was to the Old Orange County Court House to get our marriage licence. We missed our appointment because Zach missed his flight early that morning and got put on another flight two hours later. After battling the horrible lines at the court house (not!) It was super fast and we were both very tempted to just make the whole thing official for an extra 25 bucks! We went to Claim Jumpers to "celebrate"our almost marriage. I know it sounds cheesy but since when have we been normal?This is after I went through the temple and received my endowments. It was such a wonderful experience to be with my fiance, family and friends inside the temple. I am really looking forward to getting sealed for time and all eternity in just a few weeks. We forgot to take a picture outside the temple before the session, so we decided to take out at In N Out afterwards. haha.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZACH!!

Friday was a very important day for a couple reasons. Most importantly it was Zach's birthday! I thought it was only fitting to post a cute baby picture of him so we can all see how cute he was and the extremely handsome man he has become! I love you Zach, I know your birthday this year was a bit hectic with all of the stuff we had to do for our friends wedding but I promise next year will be much better.... cuz we will be married! :)

It was a very fun and BUSY day! We were able to go to the sealing in the San Diego temple for our friends Joey and Alicia Mascio!

We had to say good bye to our sweet little boy Bentley. No, he didn't die. I had to find a new home for him. Which I did. He now lives with the Louder family in Orem Utah. I will miss him greatly and am having a hard time with him not being here. He is such a good dog and I wish he could have stayed with me. Honestly giving him away was probably the hardest thing I have had to do this entire wedding. I'm sure Bentley James is very loved in his new home.

And on a happier note.. look who came for a visit! My favorite (and only for the moment) niece Finleigh! Well, she isn't my niece yet but she is so stinking cute! I just love her! I had lots of fun splashing around in her little blow up pool with her!

Tonight was my bridal shower and it was so much fun! Since a "picture is worth a thousand words" I just decided to mainly post pictures about it because I don't have much time to blog about it. I will be sure to edit it later with more detail but for now enjoy!

45 days to go!

We are in what I like to call "wedding crunch time". After attending the Chapman wedding on Friday I suddenly realized how much I still have left to do for our wedding! My list keeps growing by the second. I keep having to remind myself to just Breath Sara, breath. So currently I am....

1. Working on Invitations so I can ship these suckers out by Friday.
2. Wearing my wedding heels so I can work them in before the wedding.
3. Listening to possible music for the wedding and figuring out what I do and don't want.
4. Scanning pictures for our slide show
5. and finally doing a load of laundry.

Yesterday was filled with lots of anger toward certain vendors. People try to yank me around and I'm sick of it. So the "mean Sara" had to come out and set them all straight. I have to say that I am very proud of myself because I am usually really bad at confrontation but things like this is how Bridezilla's are born!!

My cellphone broke yesterday, and I mean BROKE! The charging piece in the phone fell out so... I am without a phone in this crazy wedding planning time. I must say that it is actually kinda nice to be without a phone and know that no one can interrupt me today. On the same token anyone that NEEDS to get a hold of me today will be very upset when all calls go straight to voicemail. Oh well. I will consider today a mini vacation and enjoy every moment of my cell phone-less day. On the negative side that means I can't communicate with my honey today. Hopefully my new one gets here soon so I can transfer all the numbers over.

Busy Utah weekend

I had to spend another busy weekend in Utah finishing up wedding plans. I think I have almost everything done now. While we were there we picked up my wedding dress, fixed my temple dress, designed our invitations, picked up Zach's wedding band, found a place to live, figured out what the boys will be wearing, and more things Im sure I will remember later.

While we were there we got to celebrate SAMANTHA's 5th birthday! It was so fun watching her open presents and share all of her toys with me! She is such a cute kid and it is so much fun watching her grow up. We love you Sammy-kins!

Then on Friday my family and I took Zach out to lunch while he was on break and then it made me miss him so much ...that night I kidnapped him from his job at EFY!
Just so I could spend time with him. Man, I love that guy!
Zach had to leave on Saturday to work a couple weeks in Redlands so we didn't have much time to hang out. It's been crazy having him fly someplace just about every weekend. I guess it keeps us on our toes. We woke up early that morning and went down the street to Kneaders for breakfast! Yummy french toast! Then had to run a couple wedding errands and spent the next couple hours looking through his baby pictures while he did laundry. Can I just say that my future husband was the CUTEST baby ever!!!! I hope our kids turn out like him.

After Zach left I went over to my Aunt's house and made sugar cookies with Sam, and my cousin Breanna. It was so much fun and a total adventure in itself so I will need to make a whole new post about it.
