Max turns 6

Happy Birthday Kiddo!

We went to his first t-ball game.

Can I just say that Max has a bigger fan club than anyone I know?!

Everyone came to his game to cheer him on.

Then we all had cake and ice cream after.

Jono, Zach and I even dressed up to show our support.

Max was totally embarassed but I know he loved it.

Clicked my heels 3 times

and I was home!

I got to spend some quality time with my family. It was wonderful to get to be home for so long.

I ate too much food.

Stayed up too late.

But can NEVER spend too much time with my family.

I even got to go on a couple of daddy - daughter dates.

I loved every minute. My Dad cracks me up.

Crepes and color me mine, what a perfect night!

My mom helped me complete an AMAZING diaper cake. The best one yet, actually. I will post pictures once I get some. I had a couple girls nights shopping with my Mom as well. We went to Nordstrom and shoe shopped!!! Thought I died and went to heaven. Thanks Mom!

While I was there...

I went to the Hospital TWICE.

Watched my friend Stephanie get stitches without freaking out

Went to Marlo's baby shower

Kidnapped T from preschool and spoiled her

Helped my Dad

Had a garage sale

Went shopping

Ate at TONS of fab places

Went to the beach with my family

Got my birthday presents EARLY! (thanks!)

Sophie even came along. This was her first plane ride and she did an amazing job!

I however, ended up getting sick on the way home and had to use a barf bag for the first time in my life! Embarrassing! But hey another check on my list of firsts.

So after two weeks of being away from Zach, I have returned home.

Zach greeted me with flowers and chocolates at home when I arrived. He's so good to me!

I think it was a bribe to never leave again.

Another reason

Reason Number 1269875433 why I love being a Lyman:

We BBQ in the rain.

In the words of Vikki "We can only go so long without it!"

Wanna know a secret?

Sometimes I wish I was Rachel Berry.

Yes, that's right, the Broadway wannabe character from Glee.

In the series she plays a very driven young woman with dreams of making it big on Broadway.

She works so hard on her talents.

That was my dream too, once upon a time.

And every once and a while the thought still runs through my mind,

a smile jumps on my face and butterflys do back flips in my tummy.

Wonder what life would be like if I never let go of that dream?

I could currently be living in a 800sq foot apartment

with Sophie (because ever actress needs a small dog)

Paying 4,000 a month in rent.

Walking every where I go.

Avoiding freaks on the Subway.

And learning how to properly hail a cab.

Starring in 14 shows a week on Broadway.

ok, maybe not starring but at least a back up singer.

My name in a Playbill. EEK!

Belting out ANYTHING and hearing the crowd cheer.

Never finding "real" love, and being content with my only love... the stage

Aiming for the stars and settle for nothing less.

But then I wake up from this "dream".

I roll over and see an amazing man next to me.

I get up and walk around my huge apartment

I do NOT pay 4,000 a month in rent.

I don't even make 4,000 a month!

I own a car.

I love my life, my family, my home, and even my dog.

But isn't it fun to dream?

Mothers Day

Not only was it Mothers day, but we also celebrated my mother in law's birthday!

I made a triple chocolate cherry cake and Lindsay brought a red velvet strawberry ice cream cake. Vikki is one spoiled lady!

Zach was very sweet and helped make the girls dinner.

I know I'm not a mother yet, but I can still take in the perks.

The best part of Mother's day was being able to talk to

ELDER LYMAN!

We all waited for the call and each took turns talking to him.

He is doing great and working hard. We are so proud of him and can't wait to hear his voice again in December.

Snuggling Max while he talked to Uncle Josh.

I wanted to take a nice picture with all the girls but apparently things got crazy and I never got around to it. Fail.

I am still so grateful for two amazing women in my life.

My mother who gave birth to me and raised me. She has taught me so much and I am so thankful for her example. She is truly an amazing woman!

Vikki, is another great lady. Though she has only been in my life a few years, she has made them great. I'm glad to be apart of her family and to marry the awesome guy she raised.

I don't know where we would be without you both!

Thank you for all you do!
